Your Tasks
* Supporting the conception and design of optical components and systems
* Adapting and optimizing existing optical designs
* Performing simulations and analyses of optical systems
* Analyzing and evaluating customer requirements or customer designs for proposals and studies
* Contributing to the creation of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
* Close collaboration and coordination with interdisciplinary project teams as well as customers and suppliers
Your Profile
* Successfully completed degree in physics or engineering with a focus on optics
* Expertise in imaging and aberration theory as well as wave optics
* Experience with optical simulation software (e.g., Zemax/OpticStudio, FRED) and programming skills (e.g., Python)
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
