You’ll make an impact by You will participate in technical consulting projects in the area of software development with focus on Linux for in-house customers Supporting the selection, integration, and development of Open Source Software components Contributing to research topics in Linux-based real-time systems, virtualization, and IoT connectivity Implementing WebAssembly solutions and related technologies Evaluating and applying novel technologies and software engineering methods, with a focus on DevOps practices, while contributing your own innovative ideas Developing and implementing prototypes for our next-generation automation platform, including the crucial evaluation of non-functional requirements such as performance and scalability Implementing Open Source best practices and DevOps methods Your success is grounded in Education Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field Strong academic performance in software development courses Experience & Skills Programming experience in Rust, Python, and/or WASM Knowledge of IoT and edge systems development Familiarity with Open Source culture and platforms (GitHub, GitLab) Understanding of Linux-based systems Experience with DevOps practices is a plus Ways of working Self-motivated and proactive approach Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a global team Passion for Open Source development Languages You are fluent in English and you have good German language skills You are much more than your qualifications, and we believe in the potential of every single candidate.
