The Institute of Networked Energy Systems develops transformation strategies and technical solutions for the efficient integration of the electricity, heating, transport and industrial sectors. In practice-orientated projects, our research teams develop a holistic understanding of the system and effective system solutions to make energy transition in business and society successful through research.
In the Energy Meteorology research group, we analyse how various observation systems and numerical models can be methodically optimised. We operate our own measurement networks for ground- and satellite-based collection of energy meteorological data to provide optimal information for the energy supply.
What to expect:
You will be part of the Energy System Analysis department and the Energy Meteorology group. You will work closely with the Eye2Sky network.
Your tasks:
* Perform the geometrical calibration of All-Sky Imagers
* analysis and evaluation of new calibration results
* support in the integration of the algorithms in the operational software
Your profile :
* Knowledge in Programming ( especially Python )
* Knowledge in Data Analysis
* Interest in Renewable Energy technologies
* Interest in Energy Meteorology
