Position: HR Intern (Focus Recruiting) (f/m/d) Location: Berlin, Germany Start date: ASAP for a period of 6 months Your Mission in a Nutshell: As an HR Intern (f/m/d), you’ll be supporting our People team, helping to attract, engage, and onboard great talent – and keeping our office running smoothly. From sourcing star candidates to putting the finishing touches on a first-day onboarding experience, you’ll be involved in every step of the people experience at Humanoo. HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME: Sourcing & Candidate Outreach: Research and identify potential candidates on LinkedIn and job boards Craft engaging outreach messages and maintain talent pools for current and future roles. Interview Coordination & ATS Management: Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and Hiring Managers. Keep our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) up to date, ensuring every candidate’s profile and feedback is accurately logged. Pre-onboarding Support: Prepare offer letters, contracts, and welcome packages for our new starters. Communicate with new hires to collect necessary documents and answer initial questions with a friendly, informative approach. Onboarding & First-Day Experience: Support People Ops in creating a fantastic first day experience at Humanoo and make people feel comfortable from the start. Office Management & Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure our Berlin office runs like clockwork: keep track of supplies, coordinate service requests, and support small in-office events. Handle general administrative tasks like mail distribution, meeting room bookings, and ad hoc requests to keep everything flowing. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE: Energetic : You’re ready to dive in, tackle new challenges, and learn quickly in a dynamic startup environment. Curious : You love discovering new tools and best practices in HR, and you’re not afraid to ask questions until you understand the “why.” People-centric : You genuinely enjoy connecting with others, building rapport, and ensuring every interaction feels positive. Organized : You keep calendars, documents, and follow-ups in perfect order, even when multiple things demand your attention. Basic requirements: Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken); German skills are a plus but not mandatory. Any previous HR experience is a bonus, but not a must-have.
