Job Description Nordson Test & Inspection, a global leader in X-Ray & Test Systems and Optical Sensors and Metrology, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team. Role and Responsibilities In our development department we have an open position for an electrical engineer who will focus on software development of automation technologies. The role focuses on developing the interface between hardware and system software, including contributing to related specifications. It involves designing industrial electrical control panels in compliance with international standards, as well as handling the electrical design and commissioning of motion systems. Additionally, the role supports Service, Marketing, and Sales teams by interpreting customer requirements and validating appropriate technical solutions. Program Codesys based Controllers Participate in risk and safety analysis on our systems Create and maintain circuit diagrams Provide support for Applications and Field-Service, in-house and at customer sites. Understand and interpret the customer requirements and provide the best solution, working closely with Product/Project Management. Support global and regional applications efforts per company needs. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor / Master / Technician Degree in Electronics / Automation / Mechatronics science or similar certificates. Good experience in automation, control systems or machinery projects. Fluency in spoken and written English, preferably also German. Experience with Inventor, E-Plan, WS-Cad, Solidworks, SafeExpert is desirable Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
