In Mülheim an der Ruhr or in the Stuttgart area, Germany, we are looking for a Senior Designer (m/f/d) in CMF (color, material, finish) design You will work with a cross functional team, comprised of finishing engineers, sales & marketing, color technicians, process engineers and lab technicians to initiate & develop the highest quality leather products for our OEM customers. Your tasks and responsibilities: * Work closely with color & trim designers from various OEM’s * Understanding customer requirements and expectations and translating them into new leather products * Develop holistic leather design concepts regarding, color and enrichments (perforation, embossing embroidery, quilting, printing, etc.) * Translate concept ideas for enrichments into production ready design drawings * Trend research and development of global design and trend presentations Your qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in CMF design (color, material, finish), industrial design, graphic design, textile design or related field * At least 8-10 years of professional design experience preferably in the field of mobility design * Strong research and design skills in materials and color integration, as well as the ability to identify color nuances and demonstrate color differences * Strong creativity in developing and promoting unique designs and good knowledge of consumer trends and material and color preferences * Fluency with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as excellent presentation skills are essential * Experience and sensitivity to international work environments * Well organized, self-managed, and motivated creative with a passion for design * Independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work * Fluent communication skills in written and spoken German and English are essential We offer you: We offer you equal opportunities and development possibilities in an international environment.
