Your Role
As an Infrastructure Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all IT infrastructure processes are well-documented, consistently tracked, and aligned with internal information security policies and external regulatory requirements. Your role will involve overseeing the life-cycle of critical infrastructure procedures, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with audit standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to embed process discipline and drive continuous improvement across high-risk and business-critical to the Unit Lead Infrastructure & Platform, you will serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, contributing to the resilience, transparency, and operational excellence of the IT infrastructure landscape.
Your Responsibilities
Establish order and structure
1. Gap analysis and establishment of internal processes
2. Structure existing processes and documentation
3. Automate compliance checks and remediation processes
4. Integrate compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines
5. Manage access controls, encryption, and data protection mechanisms
6. Support understanding and remediation of vulnerabilities
Compliance Management
7. Working with Information security to establish clear processes and responsibilities
8. Ensure infrastructure adheres to regulatory standards (GDPR, ISO 27001 etc)
9. Monitor infrastructure for compliance violations
10. Document and track risks, provide support to mitigate
11. Prepare and support team for IT audits
Establish partnerships - Collaboration
12. Management of 3rd party providers, respond to customer queries
13. Participate in internal risk and security decisions
14. Establish reporting and KPI’s for internal and external providers or consumers
15. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement and maintain policies
Your Profile
16. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent professional experience
17. At least 3 years of experience working in regulated environments, with a focus on process definition and compliance
18. Hands-on involvement in IT audits, both as participant and lead
19. Strong knowledge of infrastructure and cloud compliance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27000, AWS Well-Architected, Azure Security Benchmark)
20. Deep understanding of network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers
21. Proficient in monitoring, logging, and vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, SIEM, AWS Config, Azure Policy)
22. Skilled in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating compliance tasks
23. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, bridging IT and business stakeholders effectively
