The job that makes you happy:
* The focus of your great role with us is the further development of the carbon black business for the UK, IE and Scandinavia in the areas of rubber, polymer, printing and coating systems, as well as for special applications in close cooperation with our key account management, the technology department, marketing managers and the Head of Sales EMEA
* The existing and new customer business is processed with a very strong focus on achieving target figures, you take countermeasures at an early stage and report to the connected business lines in a standardized and reliable manner
* By following up complaints, tracking sample shipments, supporting the definition of credit lines and observing the market activities of competitors, you also ensure that very good business results are achieved
* Your comprehensive reporting takes into account market analyses at customer level on product, variety, competitors, suppliers, demand, volume, highlights deviations from the previous year and the forecast and allows valid statements to be made on trends and forecasts
* You also constantly develop your own knowledge and keep up to date with product, market and technology developments, e.g. through technical training or seminars
The profile that makes us happy:
* The basis for successful work in this position is laid by a degree, preferably with a focus on chemistry and/or marketing, combined with practical professional experience in sales in the chemical industry
* You can move confidently on any stage and have a high level of communication and negotiation skills and act flexibly and agilely with clarity and solution-orientation in a fast-moving environment
* You are characterized by your openness towards people and ideas, and you can handle investment projects responsibly and keep an eye on the big picture
* You can base all your decisions on valid figures and you are proficient in using dashboard and reporting tools
* To interact with internal interfaces of the Orion Engineered Carbons Group, you speak very good English and are very willing to travel
* Intrinsically motivated, you can work independently from your home office and you already have experience with this working model
