Our IT Department in Munich, Germany is looking for a:

Global Head of Core Applications

(f/m/d) (100 %)

The Global Head of Core Applications leads IT strategy and transformation to improve customer satisfaction. This role drives the shift from a service provider to a business partner, focusing on end-to-end processes. It requires strong leadership and expertise in SAP, enterprise applications, and digital transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Customer-Centric Innovation: Continuously enhance satisfaction for internal stakeholders and B2B partners by improving user experience and service delivery.
* Strategic Transformation: Lead the shift from a traditional service provider model to a true business partnership, empowering teams to achieve their objectives.
* Product Ownership: Oversee and optimize the core application landscape, including ERP (SAP Suite), B2B platforms, PLM, and Design Systems.
* IT Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a core applications strategy aligned with business goals to drive innovation and efficiency.
* DevOps & Lifecycle Management: Adopt a DevOps-driven approach to design, develop, and manage core applications for agility and scalability.
* Service Provider Optimization: Manage external IT service providers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
* SAP Transformation Leadership: Drive the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA for Fashion, collaborating closely with business units for a seamless migration.
* Operational Cost Efficiency: Maintain service excellence while optimizing costs across the core application landscape.
* Automation & AI Innovation: Build and integrate automation and AI capabilities to streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and boost efficiency.

Your Ideal Profile:

* You possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
* With 15+ years of IT experience, you have built a strong foundation in enterprise applications and digital transformation, including at least 5 years in the consumer goods industry.
* Over the past 8+ years, you have developed deep expertise in SAP, particularly in ERP systems and transformation projects, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
* Your 5+ years of leadership experience have equipped you with the skills to manage international teams in complex IT environments successfully.
* You bring a proven track record in outsourcing and external service provider management, ensuring efficiency and high service quality.
* Having worked extensively in product ownership, you have led the planning, development, and operation of enterprise applications.
* A strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and application architecture allows you to align IT strategies with business goals effectively.
* You possess fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
* You demonstrate intercultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
* You have a strong business sense, are eager to learn, and are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
* You are a quick, analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
