Your profile Minimum of five years’ experience in a product cost management role At least a bachelor’s in accounting or relevant field such as business, economics or finance / engineering also ok Relevant soft skills include communication, public speaking, reporting, and problem-solving Fluent English speaking and writing, German welcome, Korean language is a plus System knowledge (MS office – Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and strong information‑gathering skills are essential for cost analysts Your tasks Analyze product costs in depth and managing product profitability for European and Indian production Conduct estimated cost analysis and optimizing product cost structures Develop accurate cost estimates for new and existing products Identify cost drivers and defining profit improvement plan Leadmeetings with cross-functional teams focused on product cost management Establish and maintaining cost standards and procedures for estimated and target costs Determine cost evaluation standards for new production locations and products Provide strategies to improve product profitability, such as cost reduction, price optimization or customer negotiation Report analysis results of estimated, target and achieved product costs throughout the product development process Report to management on project status/risks and trends in the automotive industry What we offer you You will become an important member of an international company that is strongly focusing on the development of the latest automotive technologies.
