Your tasks
Development and design: You develop, design and validate sophisticated test equipment and systems, especially for high-frequency products such as RF amplifiers.
Automate test systems: You will design and implement automated test systems to accurately verify electrical and RF specific parameters (e.g. S-parameters, VSWR, attenuation, signal purity).
Measurement technology integration: You will select suitable RF measurement technology (e.g. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal sources) and integrate it seamlessly into our test systems.
Documentation and processes: In close cooperation with the development, quality assurance and production departments, you will create test plans, test software and detailed specifications.
Commissioning and optimization: You put the developed test equipment into operation and continuously optimize it, always keeping an eye on EMC requirements and RF-specific challenges.
Life cycle management: You will support the test equipment throughout its entire life cycle, prepare the technical documentation and conduct user training.
Your profile
Education: You have a degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, HF technology or mechatronics. Alternatively, you have a qualification as a state-certified technician with several years of relevant experience.
HF knowledge: You have a sound knowledge of high-frequency technology and know how RF-compatible test systems must be set up.
Practical experience: You are well-versed in the use of common RF measurement technology (VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meter) and have experience in test equipment development, both electrically and mechanically as well as on the software side.
Software skills: Experience in programming test software, for example with LabVIEW, Python, C# or TestStand, is an advantage.
Working style: Your way of working is structured, analytical and solution-oriented.
Personality: You are a strong team player and attach great importance to quality.
