In this role, you will primarily support our IT Data Science team operationally with data modeling and analysis to ensure the success of machine learning and AI projects. In the future, you will also assume responsibilities as a product owner, actively supporting projects from the business side.
1. Data Gahtering & Cleaning:
* Identification, review, and integration of external data sources, e.g., through web scraping or APIs
- Conducting exploratory analyses, data preprocessing and cleaning using Python or SQL
2. Modeling and development:
- Support in the design and development of machine learning and AI models (e.g., regressions, neural networks, LLMs)
* Evaluation and optimization of model performance and data quality
3. Visualization and deployment:
* Preparation and visualization of results in Power BI or web-based applications
* Providing models and insights to departments and decision-makers
4. Subproject management and collaboration:
* Taking over sub-project management in projects with a focus on model conception or data visualization
* Close collaboration with internal experts from marketing, sales and pricing to develop data-driven solutions
5. Roll-Out & Change Management:
* Operational support for the rollout of data science use cases
* Ensuring complete documentation, test execution and knowledge transfer
6. Roll-Out & Change Management:
* Development and maintenance of data pipelines to automate (partial) analyses
* Application in key areas such as marketing, sales and pricing
* Completed studies in data science, (business) informatics, mathematics, statistics or a comparable course of study
* Solid knowledge of Python (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) as well as basic knowledge of SQL and ideally some experience with Git
* Initial practical experience with machine learning models or AI applications – e.g., from study projects, internships, or your own projects
* Interest in cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and visualization tools such as Power BI
* Analytical, structured thinking combined with a high degree of willingness to learn and initiative
* High level of teamwork, communication skills and willingness to resolve conflicts
* Fluent written and spoken English and German
