This Area Sales Manager role focuses on growing commercial relationships within the maritime sector - particularly with shipowners, managers, and fleet operators who rely on vessel connectivity, hybrid network infrastructure, and integrated IT services.
It’s a sales role - but not a transactional one. Clients are often multi-national, technically focused, and highly specific in their requirements. If you’ve worked across B2B sales in shipping, IT, or network services, and know what it takes to move long-term deals through to contract stage, this could suit you.
The work is a balance of new business and account management.
You’ll be handling commercial conversations that cover vessel fleets, performance uptime, digital infrastructure, and long-term service integration.
You’ll have the space to shape how you approach your market, but you’ll need to show results and engage closely with the wider team on forecasting, pricing, and delivery.
We’d like to hear from you if you can hold your own in technical sales conversations, aren’t fazed by contract negotiations, and can clearly explain the value of integrated digital services in a maritime context.
You’ll need:
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales in maritime.
Strong commercial skills and confidence leading client discussions from first contact to close
Fluent English required; German language skills are helpful but not essential
