The Role
We’re hiring an experienced German speaking Piping Designer for a 6-month freelance contract at a major chemical site in Holzminden. You’ll support piping layout, design updates, and construction coordination for brownfield projects.
Key Tasks
* Create and modify piping layouts and isometrics
* Conduct site surveys and field measurements
* Coordinate with engineers and construction teams
* Prepare MTOs and ensure design complies with DIN/ISO standards
* Support construction with technical drawings and documentation
Requirements
* 5+ years of piping design experience in chemical or process industry
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar software
* Strong knowledge of piping standards (DIN/EN/ISO)
* Fluent in German (required); English a plus
* Available full-time on-site, as a freelancer
