Our responsibilities range from waste management, street cleaning, and winter road maintenance to urban drainage, road infrastructure, and the upkeep of waterways, green spaces, and cemeteries. We are looking to hire a Full-Stack Software Developer (m/f/d) Pay Grade 11 TVöD-VKA Your Responsibilities Design, development, and enhancement of modern web and application software across all layers (front-end, back-end, database) using programming languages such as Java and TypeScript Analysis of business requirements and technical implementation in close coordination with the business departments Development and integration of interfaces (APIs, batch) to internal and external systems Maintenance, support, and optimization of existing applications and business processes Participation in architectural and technology decisions Conducting tests, error analyses, and quality assurance measures Documentation of the developed solutions as well as support for the operation and further development of IT systems Requirements A bachelor’s degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification; or completed vocational training as an IT specialist for application development with relevant professional experience In-depth knowledge of software development (front-end and back-end) and experience working with relational databases Proficiency in using common development tools and version control systems Additional Requirements Analytical and structured approach to work, along with a high degree of personal responsibility Teamwork and communication skills, as well as a service- and solution-oriented mindset Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and to learn new technologies Basic knowledge of standard software and openness to new IT systems Reliability, adherence to deadlines, self-organization, and independence Willingness to learn, openness to new ideas, initiative, and a solution- and practice-oriented approach to thinking and working, as well as a willingness to pursue further training Cooperation and teamwork, empathetic and solution-oriented communication, and a service-oriented approach to interacting with customers and citizens We offer you A secure and future-oriented job Free parking / company vehicles for work-related appointments 30 days of vacation Comprehensive occupational safety and health protection Continuing education and professional development Supplementary retirement benefits General Information The employment relationship is governed by the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector in the administrative sector (TVöD-VKA).
