KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Solutions Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Senior Risk Manager, you start the day reviewing the latest project risk dashboards and speaking with project managers to anticipate potential challenges before they arise. You facilitate a risk and opportunity workshop for a high-impact energy project, translating insights into concrete actions integrated into schedules and budgets. Throughout the day, you collaborate across engineering, commercial, and portfolio teams to ensure risks are transparently communicated and response strategies are executed. Your work directly improves project profitability, strengthens resilience, and advances Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver sustainable, reliable energy solutions. 7. Early and comprehensive identification of project risks and opportunities throughout the entire lifecycle, from tendering to completion
8. Embedding of risk management into daily project governance processes, ensuring alignment of actions, responsibilities, and timelines
9. Translation of risk insights into clear, owned response strategies and their integration into project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
10. Consolidation of individual project risks at portfolio level to enable the detection of broader trends and systemic exposures for decision makers
11. Maintenance of transparent, fact-based risk communication to management and stakeholders to ensure trust and clarity
12. Development of organizational capability through workshops, coaching, and lessons-learned processes to increase overall risk maturity
What You Bring
13. University degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
14. Proven experience in project and portfolio risk management, ideally within complex, large‑scale energy or infrastructure environments
15. Strong capability in identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities with a proactive, value‑driven mindset
16. Excellent communication skills enabling clear conveyance of risk insights and effective influence across all stakeholder levels
17. Competence in integrating risk management into schedules, budgets, and governance routines, with strong analytical ability to recognize patterns and trends at portfolio level to support informed decision‑making
18. A collaborative working approach and willingness to contribute to capability building within diverse, cross-functional teams as well as fluent English skills; German language skills are an advantage
