In this role you own the full inbound sales journey for SMB customers: most prospects come via free trials, demo requests or contact forms and your job is to help them get value quickly, select the right plan and become successful customers. Your mission Handle inbound SMB leads Respond to free trial sign-ups, demo requests and other inbound enquiries by phone and email. Be the first human touchpoint for new prospects. Qualify and prioritise opportunities Understand each prospect’s business, e-commerce setup and requirements. Decide which leads are a good fit for PlentyONE and where to focus your time. Guide trials to quick time to value Help trial users get started, point them to the right features and remove friction so they see value quickly. Run short discovery calls and light demos Host structured discovery conversations and focused online demos that show how PlentyONE solves their specific problems. Refer deeper technical topics to colleagues in onboarding or support. Own the end to end sales process Manage your own pipeline from first contact through evaluation, plan selection, commercial negotiation and close. Hit and exceed your targets Work towards clear KPIs including wins per month and trial to win conversion. Keep CRM and processes tight Log all activities and keep opportunities up to date in HubSpot. Use existing playbooks, templates and scripts and identify opportunities to improve them. Collaborate across the team Work closely with marketing on lead quality and messaging. Coordinate with onboarding and support to ensure a smooth handover and a great customer experience. Your profile Experience in a customer-facing SaaS role such as SDR, BDR, inside sales, customer support or similar. Proven success working with inbound leads and managing a structured sales process, ideally with free trial or self-serve journeys. SaaS experience is essential; experience in e-commerce or with merchants and retailers is a strong plus. Comfortable with both phone and video calls and with clear, concise writing. Familiarity with CRM and sales tools, ideally HubSpot, and a habit of keeping data clean and up to date. Strong commercial drive combined with genuine customer empathy. You enjoy helping customers succeed and closing deals. Able to understand how a technical product works and explain it in simple terms to non-technical users. Fluent in German and English. Based in Germany, with a preference for candidates who can spend some time in our Berlin office. Benefits Your voice counts!
