POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary role of this position is to provide high quality service and support to our Customers & Sales associates to grow the business and gain market share. The Tender Specialist Customer & Sales Support supports the sales team by proving administrative and organizational assistance in Tender such as generating quotes, turning quotes to orders, updating databases, proving product related information and assisting in routing technical problems. Tender Specialist Sales Support communicates with customers and provides assistance to customers as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Coordinates Tender Management Process & Timelines
* Prepares quotes, acts as interface to legal and supports in financial terms review
* Support bid process by researching, preparing and obtaining bid documents and coordinates customer platform management
* Support Sales Team
* Complete phone, email and voicemail quote requests, send to the territory manager and/or customer
* Enter orders into the ERP system
* Update sales opportunities in Salesforce.com
* Assist with requests on pricing, shipping, availability questions, terms and stock information
* Assist in resolving customer complaints and problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Commercial or technical education, Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
* Experience in Tender Management, 3+ years customer service experience and 2+ years supporting sales associates
* Advanced order entry knowledge and customer support skills preferred
* Knowledge of sales support processes preferred (i.e., pricing, products, returns, etc.).
* Salesforce.com experience and ERP experience is a plus
* Fluent in English and German, additional languages are a plus
