The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Missions
* Guiding and supervising international teams of engineers or developers throughout the project lifecycle -Developing project plans, defining scope, and ensuring projects are executed according to plan -Managing R&D resources, including personnel, hours budget, and equipment, to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
* Possessing a strong understanding of technical concepts and methodologies relevant to the projects they lead
* Communicating with stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and senior management, to ensure alignment and address any concerns
* Ensuring that projects meet the required quality standards and customer expectations
* Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle
Profile
* Completed university of applied sciences degree in electronics, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
* Strong technical background and knowledge of relevant technologies ( Embedded software development, Automotive hardware development, Mechatronic systems, hydraulic systems (optional))
* Competence in requirements analysis and architecture design. -Comprehensive understanding of development processes (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262)
* Proven project management experience, including planning, execution, and resource management (at least 3 years)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Fluent in spoken and written English and German
* Ability to lead and motivate teams
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
