We are looking for support as a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Payroll team in Berlin/Essen as soon as possible
Your tasks:
* Validating of personnel master data, absences and attendances, sick leave, reporting and other tasks in connection with payroll accounting
* Preparation and completion of the Payroll process incl. subsequent tasks
* Supporting and advising employees in payroll related matters
* Preparatory payroll accounting
* Solve Cases (Tickets) from employees in Workday (HCM System)
* Exchange with authorities (Insurance, Tax office, foreign office,...)
* Preparation of certificates
* General administrative tasks
* Close cooperation with employees and managers
Your skills:
* Successfully completed payroll relevant training
* Experience in payroll accounting
* Profound knowledge of social security, taxes, surcharges, etc.
* Knowledge of Google Workspace and MS Office and/or the willingness to learn
* Experience in dealing with DATEV is an advantage
* Very good communication skills in written and spoken German
* Good communication skills in written and spoken English
* Willingness to work on site
* Basic knowledge of labor law
* Attention to detail
