Senior Application Engineer / Application Consultant - Sealing Technology based in Germany, remote working possible Astrantia Talent is recruiting exclusively for a highly innovative and technologically oriented globally operating business, committed to provide their customers with high-performance sealing solutions. The company not only has an extensive research and development department, but also in-house testing facilities where new designs and customer-specific material mixtures are further developed. Headquarters are located in the US with additional locations in Germany and Austria. Responsibilities: Manage the technical processing of customer inquiries and complaints. Develop and prepare installation proposals using CAD (preferably AutoCAD). Create 3D drawings independently with SolidWorks. Expand our product portfolio to meet market demands. Analyse and assess the technical characteristics of our products and third-party offerings. Attend customer visits, events, and trade fairs. Provide technical advice and support in troubleshooting, including on-site assistance for customers. Qualifications: Degree in mechanical engineering or similar field. Experience in advising customers on complex technical products and a keen interest in consultation. Ideally knowledgeable in sealing technology, hydraulics, and drive technology. Ability to integrate technical and commercial aspects effectively. Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus) and SolidWorks. Strong customer orientation, effectiveness, and proactivity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English. Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
