Position: Software Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40–$63/hour
Commitment: 30+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
* Configure development environments to support open-source projects in Rust.
* Resolve dependency issues across various codebases to ensure seamless integration.
* Ensure all tests pass consistently across different environments.
* Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
* Collaborate with the AI research lab to optimize environment setup processes.
Qualifications
Must-Have
* Expertise in Rust with 2+ years of industry experience.
* Familiarity with setting up development environments.
* High attention to detail.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
* Strong industry experience.
