* Scope of Responsibilities
* Department 16, “Corporate Security,” serves as the central service provider for the DRV Bund, performing tasks related to IT and physical security, personal data protection, confidentiality, and emergency management, as well as policy and cross-functional tasks.
* The Security Operations Center (SOC) manages the operational IT security of the DRV Bund and other affiliated pension insurance institutions. To this end, the SOC operates specialized systems for detecting vulnerabilities and attacks and serves as the central point of contact for responding to IT security incidents. By coordinating and conducting penetration tests, the SOC also performs preventive tasks.
* As part of the SOC, the Data and Platform Management Team handles the operation and configuration of security systems and is responsible for developing automations and onboarding new processes.
Your Responsibilities
* Integrating SOC systems into existing systems (e.g., ticketing systems, log sources) via APIs and other interfaces, and developing automation solutions
* Capturing requirements for automation and integration solutions and advising other teams accordingly
* Continuously improving automation and integrations
* Operating, maintaining, and monitoring SOC systems
* Supporting the introduction and migration of platform technologies, for example, by conducting PoCs
* Creating and maintaining documentation for systems, configurations, and processes
Your Profile
* A completed university degree (Bachelor’s, Diploma) in IT or an equivalent qualification, such as an IT-specific certification or completed vocational training in IT with relevant experience
* Several years of professional experience relevant to the above-mentioned responsibilities and initial practical experience in IT security
* In-depth knowledge of scripting and software development with Bash, JavaScript, and ideally Go
* Experience in data center infrastructure, operating systems (Linux/Windows), container environments, and network protocols
* Fluency in German and very good written and spoken English are mandatory
* Strong communication skills, coordination abilities, and an independent and self-organized work style round out your profile
