DriverExpress is seeking a reliable and efficient driver to join our team in Schkeuditz, Germany. As a DSY1- DriverExpress, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers in the local area and surrounding regions.
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages and documents to their destinations
* Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
* Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
* Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon package delivery
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally
* Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
* Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in delivery or courier services preferred
* Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS technology
* Strong time management and organizational abilities
* Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Schkeuditz, Germany and surrounding areas
* Ability to lift and handle packages of various sizes and weights
* Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
* Basic computer skills for using delivery tracking systems
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Fluency in German; proficiency in English is a plus
