Are you passionate about Process Safety? We are now seeking an Expert Process Safety Engineer to strengthen our technical advisory and verification team. In this role, you will apply your deep technical expertise to help our clients operate safely, efficiently, and responsibly across sectors such as energy production, renewables including Power-to-X, CCUS and manufacturing.

Your Key Responsibilities
 1. Act as a Lead Process Safety Engineer, delivering technical advisory, verification and assurance services for projects across industries such as Power-to-X, Oil & Gas, CC(U)S
 2. Participate as a discipline expert or facilitate a wide range of process safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL, functional safety assessment, QRA)
 3. Independently review key design documents (., P&IDs, Cause and Effect Chart, PSV, Blowdown & Flare system design, Hazardous area classification reports for compliance with recognized codes and standards
 4. Demonstrate strong functional safety experience, ideally supported by certification(. TUV, Exida)
 5. Apply a broad understanding of major accident hazards, safety and environmental critical element (SECE) and performance standards
 6. Lead SECE Audit for clients in compliance with. the Danish Offshore Safety Act and the EU Offshore Safety Directive
 7. Act as the Process Safety focal point for medium to large projects, engaging with client representatives, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

To be considered, you should have:
 13. Degree ( in chemical engineering, process engineering, or related discipline
 14. Minimum 8 years of experience in process safety engineering within Oil & Gas, Power-to-X, or CC(U)S industry
 15. Proven expertise in process safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL, FSA, QRA)
 16. Strong understanding of EU onshore and offshore legislation and relevant standards (IEC 61511 / 61508, EN / ISO 10418, ISO 22734, EN 764-7, ISO 13702, API standards,
 17. Ability to independently review and validate design documents against international codes and standards
 18. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 19. Excellent English and Danish skills (German or Dutch is a plus)
 20. Flexibility to travel internationally (about 10% or working time)
 21. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative mindset.
 22. PM certification (. PMP or Prince2) will be considered a plus, but not a requirement.
