The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Missions
* Recognize and manage all demands for products from customers by driving Sales and operation plan and Master production Schedules
* Upon receiving of the customer schedules (via EDI, webEDI or paper), ensure that the Customer requirements are integrated into the system
* Identify & highlight large order variations between the schedules that were forecasted by the Customer
* Follow the complete Supply Chain (procurement, production, and shipping)
* Manage co-operation and logistics issues with logistics external platforms
* Make sure from the complete customer demand (date & quantity), that this demand will be met
* Ensure that the internal scheduling has been launched, taking into account the Customers’ priorities -Alert sales in the event of a crisis (Customer or internal), to define priorities with the Customer & internally
Profile
* Enrolled in a degree program, ideally in Business Administration, Communications or a related field
* Fluent in German and business-proficient in English
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
* Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (Excel)
* Knowledge of SAP is a plus
* Service-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
