Medical Operations & Strategy Execution Manager (m/w/d) - (1 year contract)
Job Description
The Medical Operations & Strategy Manager enablesefficientrealization oft the Medical and Clinical Affairs Strategy,enhances operational excellence and strategic alignment within the HPM Medical Office organization. This role is responsible for operational planning and strategy execution to support effective implementation of Medical and Clinical Affairs initiatives and achievement of business objectives.
This role isoffered as a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover a maternityleave.
Your Role:
1. Support the planning and execution excellence (eg. processes, SOPs) of Medical and Clinical Affairs initiatives (e.g. advisory boards, investigator meetings, medical education events and others)
2. Lead large scale initiative in the Medical or Clinical field working closely with broad cross-functional teams
3. Act as a liaison between Medical Affairs and Clinical Affairs, and support alignment with cross-functional stakeholders and internal partners
4. Support strategic and portfolio decision-making, by providing insights based on data-driven analysis, identified KPIs, implemented dashboards, prepared presentations and reports ensuring to meet the organizatonal goals and strategy
5. Own and maintain tool landscape (incl. AI) for the HPM Medical Office and create and facilitate trainings
6. Drive annual operating planning procedures, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and overall business priorities incl. budget awareness
7. Coordinate portfolio and prioritization activities, and drive regular reviews
8. Prepare and facilitate project reviews and steering committee meetings
9. Drive continuous improvement, transformation, and change management initiatives to increase efficiency and collaboration
10. Develop and provide project management structures and overarching tools and enhance their effective usage
11. Support project managers in planning, tracking of deliverables, budgeting, resource management and transparent reporting
12. Initiate Capability-building programs: Plan, organize and execute Education programs and Trainings
13. Support the creation oft the Scientific Communication Plan together with the main stakeholders
You are the right fit if:
14. You hold a Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Medical/ScientificField, Nursing, Business or equivalent
15. You have over 5+ initial yearsofexperience in Medical and Clinical Affairs, or Project Management (PMO experience in a healthcareorlifesciencesenvironment)
16. You possess a strong understandingofmedicalaffairs and cross-functionalcollaborationwithinregulatedenvironments
17. You demonstrate excellent communication, organisational and facilitationskills
18. You are highlyorganized and Business-drivenattitudebeingabletoprioritizeactivitiesbased on strategicrelevance and value
19. You show analytical thinking, solution-orientedand problem-solvingskillswiththewillingnesstoembracenewideas
20. You have the abilitytoengagewithstakeholders and drivecross-functionalalignment
21. You are proficient in MS Office Suite and projectmanagementtools (e.g., Power BI, MS Project, Smartsheet, orsimilar)
22. You are fluent in English (German oranother European languageis an advantage)
