With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking a head of Sales and Marketing for DACH to join our operations based in Düsseldorf.
You will be a leader within your field with over 10 years of dynamic sales and marketing experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, the head of Sales and Marketing will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets for regional B2B & franchise, retail, e-commerce operations, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization. You will also be a key member of the management team in Germany, responsible for growing Direct-to-Consumer side of the business and creating and executing a compelling go-to-market plan. The Director will drive customer growth, leveraging data and performance marketing to scale the company in the region.
Establish and manage the Sales and Marketing roadmap for the company and be responsible for full P&L of regional B2B & franchise, retail & e-commerce, and marketing departments. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
~ Devise and plan short and long-range Sales and Marketing strategies and establish departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
~ Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for measuring progress and maintaining focus; create a digital marketing performance program that can track, measure and analyze performance.
~ Plan and develop annual sales promotions and pricing strategies for Germany.
~ Oversee the marketing plan, strategy, and work closely with team across the Leon Cycle group.
~ Monitor and provide detailed sales forecasting based on the market trend and competitor products & activities.
~ Provide leadership, direction and management to the Sales and Marketing team in a manner that ensures exceptional service to all stakeholders and that produces market differentiation and competitive advantage.
~ A minimum of 10 years of Sales and Marketing management experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments. Start-up experience is highly regarded.
~ Proven success in a marketing/retail/e-commerce/B2B/franchise environment, preferably within the sports, sporting, consumer goods or e-mobility industries.
~ Proficient in financial analysis and establishing Sales and Marketing budget and action plan by leveraging data analytics to drive business performance.
~ Great track record of hiring and growing Sales and Marketing teams and ability to do so with speed.
~ Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex Sales and Marketing deals. Able to work in a fast-paced work environment, comfortable with rapidly changing landscapes and market pressures.
