About J&T Express
J&T Express is a fast-growing global logistics company with a strong focus on e-commerce and last-mile delivery. With operations across Asia and rapid expansion in Europe, we are currently building our European organization and are looking for motivated professionals to support the development of our procurement function across Germany and Europe.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and execute procurement activities across Germany and Europe, including services (e.g. transportation, warehousing, staffing, consulting), materials, equipment, and warehouse-related sourcing projects
- Participate in the development and implementation of procurement processes, templates, policies, and governance structures for the European organization
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local suppliers and service providers across Europe
- Conduct supplier sourcing, request-for-quotation (RFQ) processes, price comparisons, tendering activities, purchase order management, and delivery follow-up
- Coordinate contract administration, purchase order issuance, invoice reconciliation, and payment processes while ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Support the development of local tender strategies, annual framework agreements, and procurement initiatives
- Assist in resolving procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, supplier performance concerns, and quality matters
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from the European organization and headquarters to ensure effective communication and information alignment
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and key milestones to procurement leadership
- Support cross-functional projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement operations
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, operations, or a related area is advantageous; motivated graduates are also welcome to apply
- Familiarity with European business practices, supplier management, and basic contract principles
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on working style
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and growing business environment
- Basic Chinese language skills are highly desirable to support communication with headquarters (e.g. reading emails and simple workplace communication)
- German and English language skills required; additional European languages are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Europe on a short-term basis when required
