Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on‑site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of customer equipment in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
* Act as the resident technical expert at the Audi site, building strong working relationships with customer engineering, production, and management teams.
* Manage and execute preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities (on‑site or return‑to‑Keysight), aligned with Audi’s production and test schedules.
* Perform installation, commissioning, and upgrades of hardware, software, firmware, and service notes.
* Support the Global Solutions Delivery team with on‑site installation and commissioning of complete test systems and solutions.
* Support regional and global project teams with service strategy planning, implementation, and continuous improvement activities.
* Coordinate and supervise third‑party service providers working on-site at Audi.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional Keysight teams (R&D, factory, logistics, project management) to resolve complex repair cases and technical escalations.
* Deliver technical training to Audi engineers and technicians as required.
* Independently determine and develop approaches to varied and complex technical assignments.
* Lead service and support activities requiring coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal Keysight organizations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system‑level issues involving hardware, power electronics, high‑voltage and high‑current systems .
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
* Fluent in English (German is highly desirable for effective on‑site customer interaction).
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel by car and air when required.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel across Europe on short notice when needed, despite being a primarily resident role.
* Strong working knowledge of battery test technologies and automotive test solutions is highly advantageous.
* Solid experience in electrical, electronic, and electromechanical troubleshooting, with emphasis on power electronics and high‑energy systems.
* Previous on‑site commissioning, resident engineer, or service delivery experience in an automotive or industrial environment is preferred.
* Good working knowledge of MS Windows OS, Linux, and networking .
