EEE Engineer (m/f/d)
As an EEE Parts Engineer, you will be responsible for the selection, qualification, and procurement of Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components for space applications. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
Your Tasks
1. Coordinate the selection, qualification, and procurement of EEE parts for space applications
2. Support the selection of compliant components for in-house designs, considering quality and manufacturability
3. Initiate and manage EEE part procurement and qualification programs
4. Prepare, review, and approve EEE documentation (, DCLs, PADs, procurement specifications, qualification status)
5. Oversee EEE part quality assurance and participate in Parts Control Board meetings with customers and subcontractors
6. Handle parts non-conformities and provide technical support for Non-Conformance Review Board (NRB) decisions
7. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers
8. Monitor and manage EEE alerts, ensuring proper documentation in the internal parts database
Your Qualifications
Must Have Qualifications:
9. University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
10. Background in Quality and Product Assurance
11. Strong technical understanding of EEE part technologies and failure mechanisms across various part families
12. Familiarity with EEE standards and specifications (ESA/ESCC/ECSS, MIL standards)
13. Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Nice to have :
14. Professional experience in technical and quality management of EEE components for space
15. Experience with relevant test methods for component qualification and screening
16. Knowledge of the space-grade electronic components market
17. Experience in circuit design and electronic assembly processes
