Job Description:
We are looking for a German–Italian Translator to support technical and administrative communication between project teams in Germany and Italy.
The candidate will be responsible for translating technical documentation, reports, procedures, and correspondence from German into Italian and Italian into German, ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency with project terminology.
The position involves working closely with engineers, project managers, and quality teams to facilitate clear communication and correct interpretation of technical documents related to industrial or construction projects.
Responsibilities:
* Translate technical, administrative, and contractual documents between German and Italian.
* Review and proofread translations to ensure consistency and quality.
* Support meetings and calls by providing real-time or consecutive translation when required.
* Maintain and update terminology databases and glossaries.
* Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company communication standards.
* Coordinate with engineering and site teams to clarify terminology or contextual details.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, or relevant field.
* Proven experience (minimum 2–3 years) in translation within technical, industrial, or engineering contexts .
* Excellent command of German and Italian (both written and spoken).
* Familiarity with technical vocabulary related to mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering is an advantage.
* Good knowledge of English (desirable).
* Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
* EU citizenship preferred.
