Your Role
You will be responsible for managing external communication in Germany, ensuring consistent messaging across media, customer communication, and internal stakeholders.
This role requires a strong understanding of the German media landscape, high sensitivity for public perception, and the ability to operate in a fast-changing environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Own and manage external communication guidelines in German and English, ensuring consistency across all channels
* Review and align customer-facing communication (e.g. customer service responses) to mitigate reputational risks
* Build and maintain relationships with German media stakeholders, including journalists and press contacts
* Map and analyze the German media landscape to support strategic positioning
* Act as the central contact for media inquiries, ensuring aligned and controlled responses
* Monitor public sentiment and media coverage, identifying potential risks early
* Coordinate crisis communication together with Group PR and define response strategies
* Support a low-profile communication strategy, leveraging third-party media and indirect communication channels
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (PR, Legal, Customer Service, Government Relations) to ensure consistent messaging
Your Profile
* Strong proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
* Experience in media relations, communications, or public affairs
* Solid understanding of the German media landscape and communication dynamics
* Ability to manage sensitive topics and public perception in a structured and controlled way
* Strong cross-functional communication skills across international teams
* High level of ownership and resilience in a fast-paced environment
