THE POSITION
As an experienced CAD/CAM programmer (m/f/d) you can expect a variety of interesting tasks from prototype development to the transition to serial production. This role also involves collaborating with the team to implement CNC processes for machining parts on automated CNC machines.
Your Responsibilities
* CAD/CAM programming with Hypermill for 5-axis CNC turning and milling centers
* Production planning, selection of special tools, and creation of manufacturing fixtures for complex structural
* components made of aluminum and titanium
* Commissioning of manufacturing processes up to First Article Inspection (FAI)
* Collaboration in maintaining tool libraries
* Setting up, converting, and monitoring CNC machines in collaboration with machine operators
* Quality monitoring of manufactured components
YOUR PROFILE
* Completed technical vocational training with further training in CAM programming
* Ability to optimize cycle times, tool life, and overall process stability
* Strong knowledge of GD&T and familiarity with aerospace standards
* Experience with high-efficiency machining strategies
* Several years of experience programming 5-axis CNC machines, ideally with Hypermill
* Relevant experience with materials used in the aviation industry, such as titanium and aluminum
* Experience in commissioning manufacturing processes for prototypes and small series
* Experience with automation projects in a production environment is an advantage
* Hands-on mentality and excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Good German and English skills (B2–C1 level) to communicate with international team members
