Role Overview: At GXO, the HR function aims to deliver more business value in the future based on better processes, technology, data and AI. One key enabler to deliver on this ambition is moving to a product approach for global HR capabilities. We will manage operating models, processes, systems and data holistically with integrated (HR IT) teams and use product management methodologies to increase speed and user centricity. This enhanced and globally streamlined approach allows us to leverage global platforms more effectively and improve processes faster. To lead the development and delivery of the HR product approach across the enterprise, we are searching for a Global Head of HR Products, whose remit initially includes 4 global HR product domains: 1. HR Core (defined as global HR source of truth, HR admin processes, HR case management and HR knowledge base) 2. Recruiting & Onboarding 3. Time & Attendance 4. Talent & Learning Other domains like Engagement and Compensation & Benefits will be included later, as the product model matures. In addition to the global HR products, the role will also be accountable for the global HR service delivery strategy, including internal and external options as well as near- and offshoring. This includes the functional steering of existing BPO partners for HR. The role will have leadership responsibility for an emerging team of dedicated global product owners, process owners and product specialists. In addition, the role will have matrix management responsibility for integrated product teams consisting of colleagues from HR data, HR services, IT, procurement and other functions. The role will own the budgets for all key global technology platforms and manage the vendor relationships together with IT and Procurement. While not directly accountable for the actual service delivery, the global Head of HR Products works closely with internal and external (regional and local) HR Services teams to ensure the same. The role reports into the SVP HR Strategy and Digital Transformation. Key responsibilities Develops and implements a global approach to HR products in line with the global HR strategy, including but not limited to HR Core, Recruiting & Onboarding, Time & Attendance and Talent & Learning, including global and regional standardization strategy Builds and leads integrated global agile teams to plan, build and run effective and efficient operating models, processes and systems, in close partnership with IT, Procurement, Finance and Operations Oversees the entire HR product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet customer needs with continuous feedback and product improvement. Collaborates with teams to deliver highquality, modular, scalable & repeatable products on time and on budget. Establishes and manages a global agile product governance, including active identification and management of the global requirements backlog Develops, aligns, communicates and continuously manages global product roadmaps which inform investment needs, product delivery and deployment planning Ensures a global approach to documentation, management and continuous improvement of end-to-end processes, jointly with internal and external HR services organizations Partners with the HR Data & Analytics team to enable high-quality HR master data and other data globally Defines key product KPIs and ensures data-driven approach to product delivery and continuous improvement Manages global HR vendors and partners jointly with Procurement and IT Owns the global budget for key global HR platformsand ensures global transparency on further (local) technology and managed service budgets in the respective product domains Enables best-fit communications and change management to ensure effective product usage and adoption Drives a people-centric approach, ensuring all products and decisions are made with the end user in mind across all regions, leveraging regional and operational teams to partner and collaborate To excel in this role, you'll need: Minimum 10 years of experience in senior HR transformation or similar roles, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, global HR initiatives Extensive experience in managing end-to-end HR processes and implementing digital HR solutions across multiple countries Strong experience building and leading high-performance teams across dispersed geographies. Relevant experience in setting up and managing integrated agile product teams Relevant experience with AI-enabled use cases for HR is a big plus Demonstrated success in driving organizational change and process improvements in complex, multinational environments Experience in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives Strong background in program management, including budget management and stakeholder engagement Qualifications Required Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field Deep understanding of global HR best practices, trends, operating models, processes and technologies Real-life experience with product management and product development, including agile methodologies Relevant experience with AI-based use cases in HR is a big plus Proficiency in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making Relevant understanding of and experience with IT management and IT architectures Skills Required Exceptional strategic leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization up to management board level Global mindset and experience with strong inter-cultural leadership capabilities Ability to drive transformational change across a complex, multinational organization with a dispersed workforce Strong business mindset with the ability to understand and quickly translate business needs into actionable features or initiatives Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex HR transformation challenges Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple initiatives across various regions Advanced communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences Mastery of HR technologies and digital transformation concepts, including the impact of AI on HR and the workforce Proven experience in leading and developing a digital and agile mindset Change management expertise and the ability to drive cultural shifts across a global organization Superb negotiation and conflict management skills to drive win-win solutions Can do attitude, results oriented and action driven Pay, benefits and more.
