What you can expect :
* You will be responsible for planning and controlling product quality, including product qualification and design validation.
* Your responsibilities will also include conducting process analyses and continuous improvement using statistical methods and Six Sigma tools.
* In addition, you will be responsible for IQA, final inspection, customer and supplier quality, and handling customer complaints.
* You will ensure that manufactured products comply with customer specifications and standards. To this end, you will communicate with customers on quality-related issues such as feedback, deviations, and specifications.
* You will act as an interface to the management team and be the main contact person for quality-related issues. You will also manage and support the quality engineers in their day-to-day business.
* Your responsibilities will also include participating in and leading projects for process and product improvement, as well as assisting with the introduction of new products, including specification development and testing.
* In addition, you will maintain and improve the site-wide quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001.
* Your responsibilities will be rounded off by planning and conducting internal and external audits, as well as preparing quality reports and root cause analyses.
Your profile:
* Completed degree (B.Sc.) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field, or similar technical training
* At least 8-10 years of professional experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
* Proven experience in manufacturing quality in a high-tech industrial environment
* Knowledge of statistical methods, preferably with Six Sigma training (Green/Black Belt).
* In-depth knowledge of ISO 14971 (risk management) and ISO 13485 is an advantage
* Experience with Lean Enterprise, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or comparable methods is desirable
* Experience in supplier quality management and NPI process management is an advantage
* Very good communication and teamwork skills
* Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Project)
* Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or ASQ Black Belt are a plus
