We're looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Calibre DRC R&D in Cairo, Egypt. Responsibilities: Design, enhance, implement, and deliver software that meets standards for functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and supportability. Work with other developers to manage dependencies, resolve integration issues, and address product workflow challenges. Take part in design, specification, and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency. Support project planning by analyzing tasks, breaking down work, estimating timelines, and keeping stakeholders informed of risks and progress. Create functional and design specifications. Collaborate closely with Marketing and QA teams to understand customer needs and ensure they are reflected in the product. Qualifications: B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science. Strong proficiency in C++ programming. Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of IC design flow, semiconductor fabrication, or physical verification is a plus. Familiarity with modern C++ standards (C++11/14 and later) is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and share knowledge effectively. We're Siemens.
