Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese multinational and worldwide the biggest producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.
DENV is Daikin’s sales, development, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa comprising headquarter offices in Brussels and Oostende, 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.
Daikin Europe Business Support (DEBS) is a branch of DENV located in Warsaw. As a competency center we aim at being one of the driving forces behind the processes transformation: optimization, standardization and automation in the areas of supply, service, master data, controlling, financial reporting and HR.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sales Planner you will be responsible for several processes and you will closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders. You will:

1. Prepare management and headquarters reports (estimated results, forecasts, preliminary results), monitor daily and monthly deviations, support with compliance reporting (JSOX), ensuring data quality and adherence to deadlines.
2. Prepare reports to analyse sales and gross margin data to support senior and local sales teams in identifying trends and support campaign strategies.
3. Contribute to the creation of yearly budget, and the follow-up of sales actions: prepare annual pricing and discount structures, implement them in systems, and collaborate with Product
4. Managers on pricing and catalogue updates.
5. Act as a key user of SAP, Webshop, and CRM systems by providing ongoing departmental support, handling inquiries, and support process standardization initiatives.
6. Collaborate with Sales Managers to plan, launch, and monitor the performance of sales campaigns, as well as supporting them from an analytical perspective.
7. Track KPIs (new customers, visits, discounts, profitability, quotations, pick up rate) and report status to senior and headquarters stakeholders.
8. Gather and create reports on market and competitor data, to inform strategic decision-making.

Our requirements

Experience, education and technical skills:

9. Master degree in Economics, Business or similar.
10. 5 years of experience, out of which minimum 3 as a controller or in analytical positions (big 4), with exposure to Top Management roles.
11. Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
12. Demonstrated flexibility to manage ad hoc requests and strict deadlines.
13. Expert knowledge of MS Office, especially in the usage of MS Excel, able to create and maintain reports using complex formulas.
14. Knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles is considered an advantage.
15. Proficient knowledge of English.
16. Flexibility to travel 1/month.

17. Good communication skills, not afraid to ask questions and raise issues.
18. Accurate level of work, with ability to dig into the details, without losing the helicopter view.
19. Team player but with ability to work in autonomy, and able to organise own tasks to respect strict deadlines.
20. Critical and proactive mindset with ability to challenge procedures and suggest improvements.
21. Strong analytical skills are essential.
22. Accuracy and attention to details.
