Our scope ranges from the design and testing of these hardware components to the development of the necessary control systems, software functions, and application, as well as project management. The department functionally manages development activities within the framework of global projects in the international Daimler Truck development network, including the USA, Japan, China, Brazil, and India. Those who join our team will gain foundational knowledge in series production development, project management, and crisis management at the highest technical, organizational, and methodological levels.For current and future city buses and coaches, we foster innovation towards zero-emission, efficiency and sustainability – while always engineering for great passenger and driver comfort.The "Governance & Technical Compliance" department provides the organizational and regulatory framework for product development at Daimler Buses. Our focus areas range from homologation, functional safety, and cyber security to quality management, product development processes, and engineering IT.
