Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
ADAS System Engineer
to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the collection and processing of data, and the function evaluation for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), ensuring their performance, safety, and robustness in real-world driving scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate ADAS algorithms including perception, decision-making, and control modules through both simulation and real-world testing.
* Define and implement KPIs and metrics to assess algorithm performance, reliability, and compliance with system requirements.
* Vehicle-side Collection of ADAS-related data on the, as well as cloud-side data parsing and cleaning.
* Analyze large-scale data from sensors (camera, radar, LiDAR, CAN, etc.) to identify edge cases, failure modes, and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop tools and scripts for automated testing, performance benchmarking, and data visualization.
* Support the preparation of evaluation reports, validation documentation, and safety-related deliverables.
* Collaborate with algorithm developers and system engineers to provide feedback and suggest optimizations.
Qualifications:
* Master's or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Proficiency in Python and/or C++, with experience in data analysis and visualization (e.g., using pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, or similar).
* Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex data.
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Preferred Experience:
* Solid understanding of ADAS technologies and sensor data characteristics.
* Background in algorithm benchmarking or system validation for automotive or robotics applications.
* Knowledge of scenario-based testing and driving behavior analysis.
* Experience with cloud platforms, container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools.
* Experience with algorithm evaluation, simulation environments or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.
* Familiarity with automotive standards and development processes is a plus.
