We are looking for an experienced leader with strategic vision, methodological strength and operational implementation skills to further develop our project management. The position is a divisional manager directly below the management and part of the management body of our group of companies.
Further development and implementation of the project management strategy, standards and tools within PPA
Management of the company-wide project portfolio including prioritization, resource planning and risk management
Active participation in company-relevant IT projects and taking responsibility for project management for projects that support the strategic development of our company
Networking with Compliance, Internal Audit and specialist departments for sensitive, regulated or large-volume projects
Management tasks
Technical and disciplinary management of the project management team
Promoting skill-building, coaching and performance management
Establishing a cooperative, solution-orientated project management culture
Conception and review of project assignments, processes and solutions (solution design)
Management and escalation support for critical or complex projects
Development and maintenance of effective PM reporting: status, costs, quality, risks, deadlines
Designing and introducing standardized project processes (e.g. onboarding new customers, product development)
Regulation & compliance
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, MaRisk, BaFin and FINMA requirements)
Stakeholder & customer management
Contact person for strategically relevant customer projects, especially in the banking and finance environment
Managing structured, transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders at project and programmed level
8+ years of experience in strategic and operational project management, ideally in a regulated financial environment
~ Certification in project management standards desirable (e.g. Familiar with tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence or similar
~ Strong communication skills at C-level (German and English, min. Management role with a lot of room for maneuver and a direct reporting line to management
