We’re Hiring: (Junior) Key Account Manager Retail (m/f/d)
Join our team and become a driving force behind the success of Lotus Biscoff and our Natural Foods portfolio in the retail sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Key Account Management Retail, you’ll be part of a dynamic seven-person Retail Sales team.
1. Develop and implement customer growth plans in line with the Lotus Bakeries strategy
2. Develop and maintain strong commercial customer relationships and become the expert of your dedicated customers and the retail landscape
3. Prepare, support/lead annual negotiations together with the National Key Account Manager
4. Ensure execution of contract objectives to achieve mutual growth and commercial objectives
5. Adapt national brand and marketing strategies to customer-specific plans, focusing on product listings, promotions, and displays
6. Budget & forecast planning incl. tracking/steering of target achievement for your dedicated customers
7. Collaborate with CatMan to analyze your customers and identify future potential
8. Create customer-specific selling stories
9. Represent Lotus Bakeries as a brand ambassador and share our enthusiasm and passion for our brands
10. Handle administrative, logistical, and financial customer tasks in coordination with Sales Assistants and other departments.
11. Academic Excellence: A master’s degree in economics or a related field.
12. Initial Expertise: You have first/ at least two years of experience in the German retail and/or in managing Key Account within the German retail landscape; having experienced working in a field sales force is an advantage
13. Customer Insights: You present good knowledge and understanding of the German retail landscape and customer structures within FMCG (single- and multi-level trade)
14. Negotiation Skills: You have first experience in customer negotiations and achieved first track record with your customers responsible for, such as implementing promotional activities, best-in-class executions for listings, etc.
15. Data-driven decision maker: You enjoy working with numbers, analyzing data and even have first experience with Circana, Nielsen, Mapis, YouGov, etc.
16. Operational excellence: Driving results, you enjoy taking on responsibility and initiative and manage multiple tasks in parallel
17. Language Skills: Fluency in German (full professional proficiency) and a strong command of English (written and spoken).
