Excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver innovative electrical design solutions within a growing multidisciplinary engineering team, supporting high-profile projects across data centres, industrial facilities, and commercial developments.

Salary: €70,000 – €100,000

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to take a leading role in the design and coordination of complex building services projects. You will be responsible for managing electrical packages from concept through to delivery, working closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure innovative, efficient, and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead electrical design for large-scale engineering projects, ensuring compliance with German and international standards.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and quality assurance.
• Produce and review electrical design drawings, schematics, and calculations in Revit and other design tools.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture, mechanical, structural, and sustainability specialists.
• Optimise electrical systems during the design process to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve technical issues early in the planning phase to reduce risks during construction.
• Support site teams during project execution, providing technical expertise and problem-solving guidance.
• Contribute to the development of BIM processes and digital design workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience, with proven expertise in building services design.
• Strong knowledge of German building regulations, electrical standards, and codes.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination tools.
• Fluent in English. German language skills advantageous.
• Excellent project coordination and client-facing skills.
• Experience in mission-critical projects (e.g., data centres, industrial facilities) highly desirable.
