Overview :
The Media & Analytics Director for Germany and Netherlands at Circana is a commercial role focused on leading the efforts for Media & Analytics solutions within the German and Netherlands market within the CPG Industry. This position is tasked with driving revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of Media & Analytics programs in both countries. The successful candidate will report to the Head of EMEA Media & Analytics for CPG Industry and collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities and strengthen Circana’s market presence in Germany and the Netherlands.
Main Responsibilities
What distinguishes this role from a typical CPG role?
* Growth and Client Expansion: Lead the renewal and expansion of Media & Analytics solutions in Germany and the Netherlands.
* Revenue Generation: Identify and close opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling Media & Analytics solutions to existing clients, increasing revenue.
* Revenue Development: Generate new opportunities through prospecting and leveraging Circana and personal networks.
* Financial Performance Management: Oversee financial performance using CRM and pipeline reports to ensure accurate tracking of commercial activities.
* Client Relationship Management: Conduct reviews of Media & Analytics programs to improve processes, ensure satisfaction, and foster long-term relationships.
* Program Management: Oversee the commercial aspects and delivery of Media & Analytics programs for key clients, aligning with their needs and Circana standards.
Strategic Account Management
* Client Strategy Development: Collaborate with regional leadership and local teams to develop strategies that meet client objectives and strengthen market position.
* Opportunity Identification: Use market insights to uncover and pursue new business opportunities within Germany and the Netherlands.
* RFP Leadership: Lead responses to RFPs to secure and expand client business across brands.
Consultative Selling
* Needs Assessment: Engage clients to understand their needs and challenges, positioning Circana’s solutions effectively.
* Solution Framing: Develop tailored proposals that demonstrate understanding of client environments and the value of Circana’s solutions.
* Client Advocacy: Act as a liaison to ensure client feedback informs product and service improvements.
Industry Expertise
* Media Competencies: Experience in data storytelling, media modeling, or MediaLift is essential.
* Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities in Germany, applying this knowledge strategically.
* Competitive Strategy: Monitor competitors and market dynamics to refine Circana’s offerings and maintain competitiveness.
* Educational Initiatives: Lead workshops and seminars to promote industry knowledge and continuous learning within the team.
Skills and Experience
* Proven Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional and geographic teams.
* Strong Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing complex data and developing strategic insights.
* Effective Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
* Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the media and analytics landscape in Germany and Europe, with a track record of growth and client satisfaction.
