The dual-brand Sheraton & Marriott Frankfurt Airport Hotel combines two premium brands in one employer! Do you have a passion for events, enjoy large banquets, and keep a cool head even when hosting hundreds of international guests? Then join us as a Banquet Supervisor (m/f/d) and help create unforgettable experiences — from setup to farewell. Two brands – endless possibilities!
Your key responsibilities include:
* You independently lead shifts in the banquet department and ensure smooth operations during events, meetings, and conferences.
* Together with the Banquet Manager & Assistant Banquet Manager, you coordinate room setups, service procedures, and team assignments.
* You serve as a point of contact for our international guests and provide professional, warm service — including handling special requests or guest complaints.
* You conduct briefings, support the team on the floor, and ensure efficient and structured workflows.
* You monitor compliance with all hygiene and safety regulations as well as Marriott service and quality standards.
* You closely collaborate with Event Sales, the kitchen, and other departments to ensure flawless event execution.
Be able.
* You have completed vocational training in the hotel or restaurant industry or gained relevant experience in banqueting or event operations.
* You bring initial leadership experience or are ready to take the next step into a responsible supervisory role.
* You remain calm in stressful situations and handle guest recovery professionally.
* Your strong communication skills set you apart, and you feel comfortable communicating in both German and English ; any additional language is a plus.
* You enjoy working as part of a team, are hands-on, and love motivating others to deliver outstanding event experiences.
