As Senior Social Media Manager (m/f/d) at Shopware, you play a pivotal role in driving our social media strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and generating demand among mid-market merchants. Are you an experienced B2B marketing professional with a proven track record of reaching a diverse audience across multiple social media platforms? Then we're looking for you! Join our team and use your experience as a channel owner to make your essential contribution to the success of our Digital Marketing Team within our Growth Marketing department.

This position can be filled on-site, hybrid, but also full-remote within Germany or specific European countries where we are registered. Your work location will be agreed upon in advance and forms the basis of your employment contract



* Cutting-Edge Social Media Strategy: You innovate and execute social media strategies that align seamlessly with our company goals and brand identity.

* Narrative & Storytelling Excellence: You craft compelling stories in close alignment with demand generation and product marketing, strengthening our narratives around Agentic Commerce and Complex Commerce, while also developing your own storytelling and thought-leadership formats that inspire and engage our audiences.

* Content Calendar Optimisation: You refine the content calendar to ensure consistent and strategic postings across various platforms, maximising audience engagement.

* Performance Analysis Mastery: You skillfully analyse and report on social media performance and KPIs aligned with our overall Marketing goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

* Audience Engagement Leadership: Proactively, you manage and engage with our social media audience, adeptly resolving complex issues and enhancing community interactions.

* Strategic Collaboration: You collaborate strategically with internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency, support outbound sales initiatives, and enhance customer engagement.

* Corporate Influencer Program Leadership: You identify, enable, and empower internal corporate influencers by providing them with stories, workflows, and guidance, ensuring authentic, impactful, and scalable advocacy across social media channels.


This is what you’ll bring to the table:

* You have successfully completed your apprenticeship, a degree in marketing or an equivalent qualification with a focus on social media management.

* You have several years of well-founded experience as a Senior Social Media Manager or in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on B2B marketing.

* You are highly skilled in social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, and proficient with advanced social media management (e.g. Oktopost) and CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot).

* You impress with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics and generate actionable insights.

* You are experienced in agency management

* As a creative thinker, you propose and implement innovative ideas with a proven track record.

* You are experienced in using modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, MidJourney, or Runway to boost creativity, content quality, and overall effectiveness in social media management.

* If we could wish for it, you would have an in-depth understanding of the needs and challenges faced by mid-market merchants across various industries. Ideally, you are also familiar with managing external agencies.

* You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and with your fluency in German and English, you can create compelling content in both languages. Further language skills are an advantage.
