Key Responsibilities:
The Risk Officer will be responsible for assessing and managing various types of risk, including market risks, credit risks, counterparty risks, liquidity risks, and operational risks. This will involve analyzing data, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Responsibilities Include:
* Assessing market risks, credit risks, counterparty risks, liquidity risks, and operational risks
* Analyzing risks associated with Alternative Investment Funds and UCITS
* Ensuring compliance with investment restrictions and risk limits
* CALCULATING COMMITMENT AND LEVERAGE FIGURES
* Preparing risk reports and regulatory risk reports
* Identifying breaches and escalating them to the Risk Manager
* Supporting the Risk Manager in developing and maintaining risk tools
Requirements:
To succeed as a Risk Officer, you will need to possess a solid understanding of finance, economics, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in risk management. You should also be fluent in English and have a good command of Microsoft Office, VBA/Python (a plus). In addition, you should be organized, dynamic, and able to manage your workload efficiently.
