Acquis aims to expand operations significantly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, on‑shoring people and services in our Cologne office.

The Head of Sales will have deep understanding of the commercial landscape within Germany and will drive revenue growth and establish long‑term business relationships with key clients and partners. The Head of Sales reports to the Country Manager DACH.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
* Take the lead on strategic account activities to maximise profitability.
* Execute the business development strategy in alignment with company objectives and growth targets.
* Collaborate on sales forecasts and strategic initiatives.
* Act as liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.
* Support new client implementations.
* Advocate for clients’ needs while maintaining company business goals.
* Work closely with marketing, client management and other teams to align sales efforts.
* Provide market insights and feedback on trends.
* Continuously evaluate sales techniques for optimisation.
* Set, manage and achieve sales targets, performance metrics and KPIs.
* Ensure accurate data input into Acquis CRM system.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
* Proven track record of business development experience within financial services in Germany.
* Strong understanding of the current market environment and trends in building integrated solutions.
* Leased or financed equipment insurance experience desirable.
* Proven ability to develop relationships across various organizational levels and maximise profitability.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and proactive attitude to change.
* Creative, solution‑oriented thinking.
* Strong internal and external stakeholder and relationship management skills.
* Ability to work independently with strong time‑management and organisational skills.
* Resilience to uncertainties and setbacks.
* Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and colleagues.
* Willingness to work in a hybrid model (Cologne office).
* Fluency in German and English.
