Responsibilities: Product design and construction according to customer requirements, taking into account economic feasibility under series production conditions Contact person for our international customers in all product matters Development projects from product design to prototyping and testing support through to transfer to series production using PPAP and APQP procedures Full project responsibility and coordination of tasks with sales, process engineering and production Technical management of suppliers and service providers Planning and evaluation of test bench runs Coordination and interpretation of FEM calculations and analyses Qualifications: Successfully completed studies as a mechanical or plastics engineer or comparable course of study, ideally with a Master's degree Experience in product development and knowledge of plastic and elastomer products Knowledge of design and processing methods as well as assembly of plastic and sealing elements is helpful Ideally prior experience with sealing technologies based on liquid silicon Business fluent in written and spoken German and English Very good knowledge of 3D design, ideally Siemens NX Very good design competence and derivation of product drawings Evaluation of FEM analysis Electrical engineering knowledge is an advantage Creativity, combined with pragmatism, team spirit and a high degree of independence The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
