TAKKT AG is looking for motivated employees to strengthen the team in Stuttgart for the role of General Counsel to shape the future of work!
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Audit Committee, particularly in matters of antitrust, securities, capital markets and corporate law, as well as corporate governance.
The General Counsel will have a direct reporting line to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Andreas Weishaar.
Take responsibility for the Corporate Office, including the legal organization and support for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Annual General-Meetings.
Safeguard the company’s legal interests by managing, reviewing contracts with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
Lead, further develop, and oversee the Compliance Management System, including internal investigations, compliance with new legal requirements, and risk assessments.
Provide legal support for strategic M&A projects, particularly during legal due diligence processes and contract negotiations.
Coordinate and manage legal disputes in close cooperation with internal departments and external law firms.
Develop and implement group-wide legal risk management strategies to support sound business decisions.
Lead and further develop the legal department, including personnel responsibility, coordination of external legal advisors, and budget management.
Qualifications
Fully qualified lawyer with a completed degree in law and extensive experience in a senior legal and compliance role, ideally within a publicly listed or internationally operating company.
In-depth knowledge of capital markets, corporate and business law, as well as corporate governance.
Solid experience with compliance management systems, internal controls, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, antitrust law, anti-corruption regulations).
Expertise in contract law and legal support of M&A projects.
Confident in dealing with regulatory authorities, auditors, and complex legal proceedings.
Strong understanding of international legal frameworks and cross-border legal matters.
Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
Preferred location is the Stuttgart area, with an expected on-site presence at TAKKT’s headquarters three days per week.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
